Green Chrome Diopside Necklace

32 inch necklace with smooth graduated chrome diopside gems. The plain nuggets measure 8x6mm up to 14x10mm in size. These slightly asymmetric shapes have a brilliant polish with a vitreous luster. They are translucent with a dark green color.

These gems are excellent quality, rare, large and richly hued with very few internal characteristics. The smooth dioxide nuggets alternate with smaller faceted chrome dioxide rondelles and gold-filled round beads. Gold-filled toggle clasp. 

This necklace is long enough for doubling or for long layering with a crisp white shirt.
