19.5-inch Umba Sapphire smooth Heishi beaded necklace. These are exceptionally rare sapphires exclusively found in the Umba region of Tanzania. These stones exhibit a vitreous luster, ranging from semi-transparent to opaque, and display light to moderately saturated fancy sapphire hues.

Umba sapphires are truly unique, as they are never treated for color enhancement. Thoughtfully placed large gold-filled rondelles complement the necklace, and a gold-filled clasp secures it.
